Tuesday 11/13- goal: get the utility sink functional. The water goes into the drain and the current pipes direct the water into the sink. This was a pretty easy process though it did take a few tries before it seemed like the water stopped leaking.
John and Bryna than took measurements and we discussed ideas of how to make better use of the space in the bathroom and kitchen.
It was a very expensive night. Bryna (when questioned) finally said the cabinets are not worth keeping in the kitchen. And on the way out John and Bryna said we are ripping out all of the concrete.
Thursday- A short night, fun activities were planned for after. I did a spot check in Bedroom 1 then Bryna and I painted the ceiling in Bedroom 2. Then we found out the utility sink was leaking, there was great disappointment in our first plumbing attempt’s failure.
Friday- I always have one rough day on the weekend, luckily this weekend’s was Friday. I bought white paint for the ceiling but when I started putting it on bedroom 3 in did not look like white. Then I went home.
Saturday- PRODUCTIVITY! We primed all of the walls (up and down) and painted the ceiling in the down stairs. Uncle Larry taught me the proper technique for painting. I had thought there must be more to it earlier in the week… now I know. The sink in the basement stopped leaking (yay!) and Uncle Larry got the sink in the small bathroom to stop leaking.
Sunday- my goal was to paint the ceilings upstairs. I had two done before I went for a run (first one in over a month!) and ate lunch, though I forgot to pack a lunch so it was more like a few snacks. Then I painted the last bedroom ceiling upstairs, the winter room ceiling and living room ceiling. Then I went home and made lasagna, it was awesome!
