Built-in Doors: Part 1

When I bought the house the built-in came with plexi-glass.
In November I re-did about 70% of the wood work in the dining room and a friend, Cheryl, gave me an idea of how to dress up the built in.  She had used Gallery Glass products on her bathroom window to create the affect of leaded glass.  I didn't notice until she told us. She loaned me her supplies and I picked up some glass pieces.  This was a surprise project for Rachel over Thanksgiving, I know this happened quite awhile ago but I had some issues finishing it.

I drew two designed in CAD to match the leaded glass windows, and let Rachel pick between them.
We lined up the glass on the paper, taped it down and cleaned it.
Then the fun began on taping the lines with the lead look tape and filling them in with the glass paint.
There was one corner that got damaged in the waiting around for me to finish the project.  The paint peeled off very easily.  Making me think that this could be a good idea for the upstairs bathroom.
