Painted Back Entry Door

Sometimes I am really bad at this whole blogging thing.  I imagine that I create a post and then I go to look for it at a later date and there is none. I check my phone for pictures that I thought I took, nothing.  So let's piece this together from what I do have.

Here is the back entry door right after installation (beginning of September):

The trim and the door were primed but needed paint.  I tried to pick a nice tan to go with the rest of the house (October 20th).
But then I started looking at golds and yellows for the door.  I didn't like it. On the paint sample grabbing trip I took one Purple.  And that is the color it ended up (November 3rd):
What a bummer! you can barely tell what color it is from this picture. But I think it highlights another problem with this project.  Daylight and temperature. I have been running low on both which stretched this out to 'nice' weekend days, that i am hope, where it is nearly 50° and not raining.

You can also see the back entry slab got redone.
